Automotive Technician Responsibilities

As an Automotive Technician at Kia of Lincoln, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our customers’ vehicles running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and repairing automotive issues accurately and efficiently
• Performing routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and alignments
• Using diagnostic scanners, repair software, and tools safely and effectively
• Maintaining detailed repair and service records
• Working closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication with customers
• Staying current on the latest automotive technology and repair procedures

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for hardworking technicians who take pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Preferred qualifications include:

✔ Previous Automotive Technician experience
✔ Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics
✔ Experience using diagnostic equipment and repair software
✔ Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
✔ ASE Certification preferred (we’ll help you earn certification if needed!)
✔ Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
